MAD-MOISELLE ARMCHAIR
This armchair was created by Davdesain upon request of one very devoted client of the eponymous maison founded by Chanel, as well as admirer of the founder herself. This bespoke armchair is an ode to the idea of comfort, sinuosity and empowerment which are still nowadays quintessential in the vision of this French brand. The tweed element placed upon a segment of quilted lambskin leather, reminding the iconic 2.55 quilted pattern, the whole structure seats on four king-sized handmade pearls. Shapes that are uncompleted, disproportioned but still capable to fit effortlessly one another in majestic perfection; exactly like the life of Gabrielle Chanel where a great and endless sense of pain generated a far greater flow of healing beauty for the centuries to come. This bespoke armchair is an ode to the wounds that do not heal thoroughly and to the strength and braveness we place on our daily mission to cherish an incommensurably and unique outcome, exactly like Chanel did.
