WHILE I WAIT AND I CAN'T STAY – SOFA

This piece is one of the most touching ones, ever created. This bespoke sofa had us sent on the moon in a quest for peace which Davdesain no longer found elsewhere. It all started from the crushing chips of a dismantled love which never came to the light, something that crushed unreasonably under the pressure of an illogical pain which stained the feelings. So Davdesain left this world, started gravitating far away and reached the moon, leaving behind a world full of joy and love but not for Davdesain. An in the middle of this apocalypse of the heart, we landed on the moon with a broken starship and we could not find peace even there. Even taking out any logic to this pain, the sorrow was burning greater and louder. “While I wait and I cannot stay” sofa is a two-seats sofa adorned with polished metal with a spiky shapes to remind the unexpected cruelty of things that can suddenly transform into something else.  The metal for people to touch with emptiness, where in the middle we find comfort and rest. The Yellow hints have been placed there to recall some rational bias to fix this excruciating pain. Metal and leather, the pain and the resilience and so was carried out the bench Pupo01, the only witness of this complete madness. This bench is far more relaxed and serene, its warm colors are a sort of consolation, a humble price for what we found against what we expected. Davdesain conceived this sofa dedicated to those who are waiting for something to be found only on the moon. It does not matter, live as this thing will wait for you forever, even if lost an unreachable, it will reminds the lively value of life and also its crushed miracles.
