Accepting that our demon is alive in the catacomb. Imprisoned, bound, yet its smell rises just as its sound does. I keep letting myself be lulled by the winds of the cosmos in the light, but it, with its metallic smell, seeks me out and sits with me. Other demons will arrive. Other catacombs. But you hold out beneath the light.
